What data we process
- Browsing data. The systems that run the website record some technical data, such as IP address, browser, pages visited and time of the request. This is needed to run the website and protect it from misuse.
- Data you give us. When you fill in the contact form or book an experience, you give us your name, surname, email, phone number, date and number of guests, and any message you write. When you sign up to the newsletter, you give us your email.
- Visit statistics. We measure, in aggregate form, how many people visit the website and which pages they read. The tool runs on our own server, without cookies and without sharing data with third parties.

Newsletter and updates
If you sign up to the newsletter through the form on the website, we use your email to send you news about Rivaluce wines, events and experiences, based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
If you book an experience, we may use the email you gave us to send you news about similar wines and experiences, as permitted by Article 130(4) of the Italian Privacy Code. You can object at any time, when booking or later, by writing to info@rivaluce.it or using the unsubscribe link in every email.
We send these emails with Mailchimp, which records whether you open them and which links you click, so we can understand which content is most interesting.
Who we share data with
Your data is never published or sold. It may be accessed, only as far as necessary, by the providers who help us deliver the service, appointed as data processors:
- OVH, which hosts the website on servers located in the European Union;
- Aruba, which manages our email and the emails sent from the website;
- Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which sends the newsletter;
- the professional responsible for the website's technical maintenance;
- our tax adviser, for the data required to meet legal obligations only.
Newsletter subscribers' data is stored by Mailchimp on servers in the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Intuit is certified. All other data stays in the European Union.
